This policy explains what personal information Cove Sleep (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit cove-sleep.com or buy from us, and how we handle it. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

Order information — name, email, shipping address and phone number when you place an order.
Payment information — processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Email address — if you subscribe to emails, start a checkout, or write to us.
Usage data — pages visited, device and browser information, collected with cookies and analytics tools (for example Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity or the Meta pixel) when those tools are switched on for this site.

How we use it

To take, pack and deliver your order, and to send order updates.
To answer support requests and process returns.
To send marketing emails you have opted into. You can unsubscribe in one click.
To keep the site working and to measure advertising.

We send transactional email (receipts, shipping, returns) whether or not you are on a marketing list.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services that run the store: our payment processor (Stripe), shipping carriers, our email platform, and advertising or analytics platforms when they are in use. We do not sell your personal information.

Overseas disclosure

Some of those services store or process data outside Australia — Stripe, for example, is based in the United States. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Cookies

We use cookies for the cart and checkout, and for analytics when those tools are on. You can block cookies in your browser. Checkout may not work without the essential ones.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email hello@cove-sleep.com and we will action it promptly, unless we must keep a record for tax or legal reasons.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting and legal obligations. Marketing data stays until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Children

This site and these products are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version always lives on this page.
